I removed the User / Group part from the .service file and the crackling is gone. Reading this now where it is explained: https://github.com/jackaudio/jackaudio.github.com/wiki/Cgroups … Thank you so much for your time and really helpful tips&tricks - learned a lot! 

This is my first mailing list and I hope I am not too much of a bugger because not following common rules I don’t know yet.
