FYI Jekyll provides automatic importers for Drupal, so this might be
even easier than importing things by hand, if the github-pages route
is chosen.

I'm not aware of the specifics of the jackaudio.org setup but this may
help ease the transition.
Another plus for gh is https-by-default for peace of mind when
downloading tarballs.
